1. The client ( client A ) recommend your friend ( client B ) by sending you your referral URL.

2. When Customer B clicks the URL, they should see a prompt asking them to enter their email address. When Customer B enters their email address, the “Friend” reward will be sent to them via email.

From the email, Customer B will be able to copy their coupon code and use it in an order.

3. If Customer B then makes a purchase, Customer A will get their reward.

Please note that the friend does not need to create an account or use the friend reward they redeemed to complete the referral. They would have to make a purchase!

Note: If a customer previously checked out as a guest or entered their email in any way, they will not be able to use the referral link (as they will already have an email associated with their name) and therefore will not be eligible.

To convert points into a reward, your customers will need to log in to your site's rewards dashboard. Once they have logged in, they will need to open the rewards panel.

Then click Ways to redeem.

If you have enough points for one of the fixed amount rewards, there will be a button Redeem.

To redeem points at incremental rewards, your customer will need to use the points slider to select the number of points they want to spend and then click Redeem.

Upon clicking redeem, your customer will be taken to a page displaying the coupon code with a button to Apply code which will automatically apply that coupon code at checkout.

Depending on your settings in Notifications, your customers may also receive an email with the coupon code for their records. The code will also be stored in your rewards panel in the section Your rewards at the bottom.

📋 Note: Once a customer has redeemed their points for a reward, the reward will remain in their account until they choose to use it on a purchase or until the reward expires. Points are not automatically returned to a customer's account if a reward is redeemed and unused.
